Santa Barbara is the seat of Santa Barbara County, California. It is a city that lies between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. This area offers a primarily Mediterranean climate, and as such it is often referred to as the ‘Riviera of the West.’ Santa Barbara is the second biggest city in the county after Santa Maria. It is less than a hundred miles away from Los Angeles.
