About Baker Street Tube Station
Baker Street can be found in the district of Marylebone in the City of Westminster London borough, and its name originates from the builder William Baker who developed the street in the 18th century. As the years have passed, the area has witnessed a considerable shift from residential properties toward a more commercialised location where businesses are in abundance. Baker Street is a busy thoroughfare, running south from Regentís Park, meeting up with Marylebone Road, Portman Square and Wigmore Street. Within the surrounding area, there is a plethora of upmarket hotels, restaurants and bars with plenty of choice for hosting a business meeting.
