Dubai Marina is a district in Dubai, within the United Arab Emirates. It is located between Jebel Ali Port, the Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, and the American University in Dubai. Designed as an artificial canal city along 3 km of the Persian Gulf shoreline, the Dubai Marina is completely man-made. When work in the district is completed it will accommodate over a 100,000 residents in high-rise towers and villas. The majority of the district’s population is from Western Europe.
The Dubai Marina is the largest man-made marina in the world. It offers thousands of residential and business properties, and is one of the most sought-after areas in Dubai. This is a waterfront urban centre, with many hotels and apartment buildings. Nearby prominent businesses with office space or other facilities in the area include Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, IBM, CNN, BBC, and Reuters.

Dubai Marina provides an excellent area to walk along the harbour. There area many options for water sports, including boating, sailing and fishing. There are several terraced green spaces and a yacht club. Many skyscrapers are located here, some of which are more than three hundred meters high, including the Pentominium, DAMAC Heights and Marina Princess Tower. Dubai Marina has a variety of restaurants offering diverse cuisine options. Aquara Restaurant and Lounge serves fresh seafood, AOC is a popular French Brasserie, Bice also provides European food, Butcher Shop & Grill is the place to go for Steak, and Fish & Chips Room is an establishment with an English expat clientele.
Dubai Marina is located within 38 km (24 miles) from Dubai International Airport. Dubai Marina Metro Station is a dedicated stop on the Red Line and provides a direct route to the airport as well as other locations throughout the city. The F37 bus service runs around the circumference of the Marina and the number 8 bus connects to the Golden Souq.
