The Mall of the Emirates is a shopping centre located in Dubai’s Al Barsha district, in the United Arab Emirates. It is the second largest shopping mall in the Middle East (following the City Stars Mall), with the entire complex covering of 600,000 square metres (6,500,000 square feet).
The Mall of the Emirates is strategically located to provide central Dubai with shopping, leisure, and entertainment. Retail is the main business activity and the mall features over 500 international brands with fashion, lifestyle, sports, electronics, and home stores, as well as the largest Carrefour in the city. Mall of the Emirates has a lot to offer in terms of activities. These include shopping in the vast array of stores, getting coffee or a meal at one of the many cafes, chocolate or ice cream shops, fast food outlets, or restaurants. You can also book luxury accommodations at Kempinski Hotel or Pullman Dubai, experience the artistic environment of DUCTAC community theatre, or visit Magic Planet - the largest indoor family entertainment centre in Dubai. Another option is Ski Dubai, the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East. The Mall of Emirates has a variety of restaurants offering diverse cuisine options. The Mall of the Emirates can be reached by car taking Interchange 4 on Sheikh Zayed Road or the Beach Route from Deira City Centre. There is a dedicated stop on the Dubai Metro system, on the Red Line, which provides a direct route to the Dubai International Airport. Taxis are another reliable mode of transport and are readily available in the immediate vicinity.
