Also spelled Coblenz or Coblence, this German city is the third largest city in Rhineland-Palatinate. Koblenz is situated on both banks of the Rhine where it meets the river Moselle. Koblenz is 92 kilometres (57 miles) southeast of Cologne by rail.

Business Information

While being a principal seat of the Mosel and Rhenish wine trade, Koblenz also does a large business in the export of mineral waters. The economy is also dependant on the manufacturing of automotive parts with companies such as TRW Automotive and Stabilus in the region.
