The time has come to announce the Business Centre of the Month award for June.
This month is a little bit different, with a brand new centre taking the prize.
Congratulations to The Office Group at Borough High Street!
The Office Group at Borough high street is very young, yet it is already attracting a wealth of diverse businesses to its corridors.
So what is it that sets this young business centre from the others opening up around the country?
Let’s take a look…
The centre is ideally situated a short walk from London Bridge mainline station and borough tube station. The world famous Borough Market is also a stroll away for those foodies amongst the workforce.
Businesses at the centre wishing to foster business relationships over lunch can
The centre is also situated between two fantastic green parks, ‘ideally suited to summer lunch breaks and informal meetings.’
A number of businesses currently occupy the centre, incorporating a wide range of sectors. Tenants include small charities, IT support, fashion companies and a multitude of varied start-ups.
A major selling point for 201 Borough High Street is its flexibility in design. Members can make their workspace uniquely their own, by branding the space, painting the walls and really creating a home for their business.
New products are abound with this new centre. The Office Group understands the inconvenience of a round trip to the gym before the working day has started. So they have introduced ‘Work It’.
‘Work It’ is a focus for all of The Office Groups newer buildings, providing gym studios and roof terraces to ensure all members are in the right space for achieving health and fitness goals.
We spoke to Kieran, a senior sales representative for the office group.
‘We equip people with the right theory and practices to encourage growth at their own pace, and able to work their fitness lives around their work lives all in-house.’
The Office Groups’ philosophies shine forth in this building. At the heart is a desire to create a work environment that is simple, flexible and more considered in design. Borough High Street provides the ‘blank canvas’ flexibility for tenants to make themselves feel truly at home.
There is also a big community enthusiasm, with workshops and events hosted throughout the year to provide a creative environment and family spirit that allows clients to push their business forward.
On another exciting note, the Office Group are adding two extra floors to Borough High Street. This rise in height will give members unrestricted views of the entire skyline, perfect for wooing potential clients (and prospective employees.)
To top it off, the existing roof terrace stretches along the entire footprint of the building and has solar panels and facilities for harnessing rainwater for making their footprint a little greener.
The gym facilities mentioned earlier provide classes, one to one PT sessions and yoga sessions on the office roof. Not to mention storage and showers for those that like to cycle to work.
When asked what his favourite part of the job was, Keiran had this to say.
‘It’s amazing to see a client’s journey and how they use the space and the building to really inspire their teams and grow their business, and introducing them to other members in the building that I know during all our great social events. Barbecues, bike rides, digital festivals, fashion events – we host such a range of social events and for so many different people and industries, and helping to facilitate a great atmosphere for the members in our buildings gives me so many feels!’
Congratulations again To The Office Group!
