Forrest is a suburb in Southern Canberra, in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is located just 6 km (4 miles) from the centre of the capital city. It is named after the explorer and politician Sir John Forrest. The suburb is built in accordance with the original plans of the capital and contains a multitude of circular and geometric patterns in its streets.
