Whittier is a city located in California, USA. It is part of Los Angeles County’s Gateway Cities and is just twelve miles from the center of Los Angeles. Whittier has no lakes or rivers, and is home to Whittier College. The historic business district of the Los Angeles area is located in Uptown Whittier.

The city’s closet rail link is in Fullerton, which is 9 miles from the Whittier and served by Amtrak.
