Things to do in the Sarasota area may revolve around the beaches, but there are also many other things to see and do. One is a visit to the Sarasota Jungle Gardens where there are animal shows, rare plants, and a chance to see a more traditional Florida tourist attraction. Both the Ringling Estate and the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art are very interesting and worth seeing. The 66-acre Ringling estate include Mable’s Rose Garden, the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, the Circus Museum, the Cà d’Zan Mansion, the Tibbals Learning Center, and the Historic Asolo Theater located in the Visitor’s Pavilion. The art museum houses John Ringling’s personal art collection which is comprised of 21 galleries featuring Old Masters, European, American, and Asian art pieces. A relaxing and unique dining option can be experienced at Marina Jack on the waterfront. Here you can sit outside with your feet in the sand, sipping a tropical drink while you watch the sunset before you dine on seafood. Marina Jack also offers a dinner cruise.
