The state of Michigan is located in the upper mid-western region of the United States of America. The state is bordered by Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and the Canadian Province of Ontario. Another specialty is Michigan fudge. The most popular fudge shop is found on Mackinac Island, where the treat has been made by hand since 1887.
Michigan has several airports, but the largest is Detroit Metro Airport. Grand Rapids’ Gerald R. Ford International is another choice, and there are several regional airports. The state offers Amtrak train services and greyhound operates city to city coaches. Getting around the state in a private vehicle or hire car is a great option as Interstate Highways 69 and 75 cross the state.
