The East River and The Manhattan Bridge are both a short walk away, providing a tranquil space to marvel at the New York City view. The Lower East Side is best known as having once been a center of Jewish culture, with a few stores in the vicinity still selling Jewish memorabilia. There are some renowned kosher delis and bakeries in the vicinity, including the famous Katz's Deli. There are a number of parks throughout Lower East Side, providing a tranquil setting for a lunchtime stroll or after-work catch-up with friends.
