Cerritos is a city located in Los Angeles County, in the U.S. state of California. Before becoming a city the area was known as Dairy Valley due to the historic number of dairy farms in the area. This is an affluent city that is bordered by Artesia, Bellflower, Lakewood, Norwalk, Santa Fe Springs, and La Mirada.
Cerritos economy is based on retail sales, light manufacturing, electronic and automotive parts, and transportation. Major employers with office space or other facilities in the area include United Parcel Service (UPS), ABC Unified School District, AT&T Mobility, Southern Wine & Spirits of Southern California, City of Cerritos, College Hospital, S&J Chevrolet, Nordstrom, Delta Dental of California and Norm Reeves Honda Superstore.
