Little Italy is a neighborhood located in lower Manhattan, New York City. This four block area centers on Mulberry Street and Grand Street. It borders Chinatown at Bowery. The neighborhood of Little Italy consists of Italian stores and restaurants. Little Italy is known for an annual celebration of Italian culture and its Italian-American community. The Feast of San Gennaro is a large street fair, lasting 11 days, which takes place every September along Mulberry Street between Houston and Canal Streets.

To get to Little Italy from the West Side take the N or R subways downtown to the Prince Street station, then walk east 3 blocks to Mulberry Street.
