Located in King County, Washington – the city of Kent is a suburb of Seattle. This city is the sixth largest city in the state of Washington. The Kent Valley Ice Center is the largest family ice entertainment facility in the Pacific Northwest. This facility also boasts a one-of-a-kind miniature golf course. Olympic level ice-skating exhibitions are held at the center. The ShoWare Center is a 6,500-seat, multi-purpose arena located in Kent. There are hockey games, concerts and other sporting and cultural events held at the arena. There are many dining options in and around Kent and the larger city Seattle. Including The Purple Café and Wine bar in Seattle, which offers dinner items such as pan roasted free-range chicken and baby Yukon potatoes for dinner.
The nearest major airport to Kent is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. This airport has international and domestic flights from Seattle, Washington within 8 miles of the city center.
