About Garment District
The Garment District is a neighborhood located in the Manhattan borough of New York City. The plethora of fashion-related businesses and stores give the neighborhood its name. The Garment District has been known as the center for fashion manufacturing and fashion design in the United States, and even the world, since the early 20th century. As well as fashion, there are various cultural and historical sights to visit in the area, including the New York Public Library, which is a short walk away, as is Bryant Park, which offers a relaxing destination for an after-work stroll.
