Arlington Office Space
No longer simply a suburb of Dallas, Arlington has become a major business and entertainment center of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This city of nearly 400,000 people, the seventh largest city in Texas, is easily reached by two major interstates, I-20 and I-30, making it a convenient spot for commercial shipments and business travelers. Highways 287 and 360 also serve the city, making Arlington as well-connected as any city in North Texas.
Arlington is well known in the DFW area as the site of a number of major entertainment venues and is a hub for tourists. Rangers Ballpark, home of the Texas Rangers, is located there, as well as Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor, which are world-class amusement parks. The crown jewel of the Arlington entertainment complex, however, is the recently built Cowboys Stadium, host of the 2010 NBA All Star Game and the 2011 Super Bowl. These venues make Arlington an attractive site for any number of businesses, from retail stores to supply-side operations.
Due to its rapid population growth and numerous opportunities for commercial expansion, Arlington has a diverse range of office spaces, available in a variety of sizes, styles, prices, and buying/leasing options. Major commercial office space providers such as Regus and Meridian operate business centers in Arlington, offering office rentals and shared office space at very reasonable prices. Recent listings on several websites for the Arlington area reveal average prices per workstation start from as low as $500 to $700, reasonable rates even in today's harsh economic climate.
One of the most exciting developments in commercial office space in the whole DFW area is the opening of the Pioneer 360 Business Center, a 1.16 million square foot center that will house a distribution center, technology companies, warehouse space, and even executive offices and suites! Another recent development is the currently-under-construction New Texas Clinic, a three-story medical office building designed to house a number of health care operations. In addition, a number of new developments will inevitably crop up to support the influx of tourists and new visitors streaming into Arlington for the large-scale events (Super Bowls, All-Star Games, Cowboy games, concerts) to be held at Cowboys Stadium, which seats more than 100,000.
