Celebration is a community near the city of Orlando, in the U.S. state of Florida. It is defined by census, and has no official classification as a town or suburb. The small residential and commercial area was created by the Walt Disney Company, and then turned over to local government. It is located in Osceola County, 20 miles from downtown Orlando and 7 miles from Walt Disney World. This master-planned development offers unique Disney-esque features such lampposts on Market Street that shoot-out leaf-shaped confetti in autumn to simulate falling leaves, and suds pouring from the lampposts during the holiday season, to signify snow.
Celebration’s economy is entwined with Disney, even though the corporation no-longer owns the community. There are multiple Disney business units with office space here, and the utilities for the area are provided by Smart City Telecom and Reedy Creek Energy Services, that are operated from Walt Disney World. World Drive is a primary street in Celebration that directly connects Celebration to the Magic Kingdom. There are more than 500 companies, merchants, and food establishments in Celebration, including the Disney World Office Building Park. Celebration features a high percentage of home businesses.

The Celebration Town Center is home to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The center is located near a lake that is surrounded by palm trees and benches. It boasts a water fountain that appears from out from the ground, and has places for children to play in the water. Celebration hosts many annual events that include art shows, community-wide yard sales, an exotic car festival, Radio Disney Holiday concert, an Oktoberfest Celebration, and so much more. The main attraction in the area is its easy access to Disney World and all it offers. Dining options in Celebration include Celebration Town Tavern, Columbia Restaurant of Celebration, Thai Thani, Seito Sushi Celebration, Imperium Food & Wine, Café D’Antonia, and the Market Street Café.
The nearest major airport to Celebration is the Orlando International Airport, located 20 miles from the Market Street. Another major airport in the area is Orlando Sanford International Airport, featuring international and domestic flights from Sanford, within 50 miles of Celebration. Celebration is served by the Disney World busses, trams, and other transportation options provides by the resort.
