Boulder is a city and county in the state of Colorado. It is located at the base of the Rocky Mountains, 25 miles north west of Denver. Boulder is a university city, as it is home to the University of Colorado main campus. This is the state’s largest university. The city is ranked high for quality of life, education, art, and health.

Boulder Creek Path cuts through the town and provides a beautiful atmosphere for walking, biking, and other forms of recreation. In the summer there are several swimming holes along the path. You can also take an inner tube and float down the creek. There are many dining options in Boulder, including Frasca Food and Wine, Flagstaff House Restaurant, Abo’s on the Hill, and Arabesque. The Med is a well-known restaurant in the area serving Mediterranean delicacies such as paella, fresh pasta, grilled meat and fish.
