Alviso is neighborhood in the city of San Jose, in the U.S. state of California. Located in Santa Clara County, this community is at the northern end of San Jose, just 1.5 miles south of Drawbridge, where the city is bordered by the San Francisco Bay and the nearby city of Milpitas. The Guadalupe River and Coyote Creek empty into the Bay at Alviso, through the Alviso and Mud Sloughs.
