About London Bridge Tube Station
London Bridge generally refers to the area between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, on both sides of the Thames. The bridge that the area is named after has been rebuilt many times, with the latest incarnation completed in the 1970s, but a bridge has stood at this location since AD50 and was the first bridge to be built across the Thames by the Romans. Other than the bridge, the area is home to a number of historical sites, such as the Tower of London, and museums and attractions dedicated to the history of the area, including the Tower Bridge Exhibition. London Bridge Station is one of London’s largest and busiest mainline stations, offering transport links across the UK.
