Area Guide Fenchurch Street Station

Located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Fenchurch Street is most famed for its train station, built in 1841. The street itself links Aldgate to Lombard Street and is a well-known thoroughfare in the City of London’s financial district.

A rise in the number of young professionals moving to the area has seen an increasing number of offices and luxury residential blocks, further encouraging the growth of the district.

Setting up your business here

The location of Fenchurch Street makes it one of the best places in London to have an office, as it is so close to so many of the businesses and sights that make London famous. There are also brilliant transport links into the area, which make it easily accessible from all over the city.

Culture and Entertainment

Because Fenchurch Street is situated close to the centre of the city, you can walk to some of the most famous sights and points of interest in a short space of time. Although the queues can be quite colossal, the Tower of London is always worth a visit and offers a comprehensive insight into London’s prolific history. The crown jewels are housed within its protected walls and amusing guides offer free tours around the Tower.

The Gherkin is another famous London landmark, yielding some of the best views of the city, along with classy restaurants and upscale businesses for visitors to look around or get involved with.

Eating out

Offering a sleek and professional place to enjoy lunch or dinner, the Darwin Brasserie sits on the 36th floor of Sky Garden and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to suit all occasions and appetites. The restaurant has a very elegant feel and taking clients there to eat at any time of the day will definitely make a lasting first impression.

If you want something a little more casual during the day, there is delicious food available at the Windsor Fenchurch. The breakfast and lunch menus have plenty of deals throughout the week, as well as a grill menu in the evenings. There is often live music and other events to take customers to in the evening.
