About Barking Railway Station
Barking is located in East London, less than 9 miles from Charing Cross. The Town Square lies at the centre of the area’s regeneration efforts which include a library, an arboretum and a gallery as well as over 200 new homes. The square is often used for outdoor events and has become popular with tourists and residents alike. This area has also recently seen commercial growth as well as providing the public with facilities which will create a variety of leisure, working, living and cultural amenities. There are also plans to build over 10,000 new homes and a number of transport links which include extending the DLR at Barking Riverside station which will hopefully increase the number of visitors to the area, making it all the more prosperous.
