A small town in the county of Wiltshire, Malmesbury is also the name of the borough where in which the town is located and is one of the oldest boroughs in the country. The town was built around Malmesbury Abbey and was a centre of education in its time. Examples of historic forms of architecture and timber construction can still be seen in and around the town.
