Area Information
The town of Horley is located in the borough of Reigate and Banstead in the county of Surrey. Beginning life as a sleepy residential town, the area underwent a major transformation from the late 19th century to early 20th century with the twin developments of the railway line and Gatwick Airport in the region. The expansion of the airport has always been a major topic of debate in the area. That being said, its proximity to the airport has boosted the local economy considerably and also put Horley on the map as a popular commuter idyll. Walking trails around the River Mole are major attractions in the area, as is the site of Thunderfield Castle.
Business Information
A large portion of the available office space is situated on the property of Gatwick Airport and is occupied by major airlines and other businesses related to the services and hospitality industries. One of the top UK gas distribution companies, Scotia Gas Networks, has a significant presence in the region. Next Retail, Marks & Spencer, Martell’s Department Store and Debenhams are some of the main retail spaces in the vicinity.

Numerous dining options ensure that you never have to worry about finding a great place to eat. Make your way to The Half Moon for splendid European fare, New Curry Bengal for fiery Indian food and Le Gourmet for a fusion of French and Spanish cuisine.
