Haydock industrial estate is part of the town of Haydock, and is located between Liverpool and Manchester in the county of Merseyside. Named after the Celtic word meaning “Barley Place” or “Wheat Place”, the town is surrounded by green areas and agricultural land. The industrial estate itself is located on the outskirts of the town and is home to a number of big and small manufacturing units and companies. The most prominent landmark in the area is Haydock Park Racecourse while Bethany Hall, Christ Church and St. James’ Church are also major sites close to Haydock Industrial Estate.

Haydock has a number of options when it comes to eating out that are within a close proximity to Haydock Industrial Estate. Lymewood Farm serves up traditional British food made from locally grown ingredients while Beechers, located in the Thistle Hotel, has a variety of seafood prepared in a combination of traditional and modern ways.
Connection to Haydock Industrial Estate is mainly via road with the M6 motorway connecting it to Liverpool and Manchester. The A580 also provides connectivity for drivers, coaches, taxis and bus services. Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester Airport offer national and international air-links within a short distance of the town. While the town has no railway station of its own, Earlestown Railway Station and Garswood Railway Station are the closest links on the Liverpool-Wigan track.
