Bow is a district in East London, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is a built-up, mostly residential district, which is adjacent to the London 2012 Olympic Park. Bow underwent extensive urban re-generation including the replacement or improvement of council homes. The redevelopment coincided with the staging of the 2012 Olympic Games. Victoria Park and West Boating Lake are within the area and prove to be a popular destination with professionals and locals alike. There is a wide range of attractions and events to take part in within Bow. All Star Lanes at Westfield Stratford City provide an exciting bowling experience for all ages. Westfield Shopping Centre itself houses a diverse mix of retail outlets and restaurants for all budgets, as well as a cinema. The Shuffle Film Festival is held at the St. Clement's Social Club in Mile End Road for ten days in August. Curated by Danny Boyle, the event will showcase a whole raft of films, projected on both indoor and outdoor screens. There are many eateries and bars situated around Bow, including The Greedy Cow, which offers diners a range of delicious burgers. Formanís, situated on Fish Island, provides an intimate setting and an extensive internationally inspired menu.
