São Paulo has three major airports: Guarulhos International and Viracopos offer international and some domestic flights and Congonhas is the airport for medium and short haul domestic flights. Guarulhos International Airport– is also known as Cumbica, it is situated 40 km (25 miles) from the city centre. Public transportation in São Paulo is available by taxi, bus, subway/metro, train, and trolley.
