Stratford is located in East London, in the borough of Newham under the postcode of E15. Primed as the major destination for the London 2012 Olympics, Stratford and the surrounding area has undergone large-scale redevelopment over the past few years, in preparation for this legendary event. Furthermore, Stratford’s convenient location and excellent transport links which provide easy access to the City of London and London Liverpool Street, have made the area jump up the rankings to become a highly sought after office space location.
Transport Information
Stratford station is serviced by two major tube lines – the Jubilee and Central – which make access to all areas of the capital simple, from the west end, to areas of Greater London such as Middlesex. Stratford is also on the DLR network meaning business districts and areas such as Canary Wharf are within easy reach. Being a major transport hub on the London Liverpool Street to Norwich, National Rail Network means access to areas such as Essex, Stansted Airport and Ipswich are convenient. Lastly, Stratford International Station, which opened in November 2009, intends to make travel during the Olympic Games smoother, as high speed domestic services will be running from areas such as Kings Cross St Pancras to Ashford.
