The most expensive apartment in New York and one of the most expensive in the World, has been put up for sale at an asking price of £64m ($100m).
The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom, penthouse is in the CitySpire building in Central Manhattan and measures 8,000 sq ft. Its sale is expected to set a record for the city.
The vast price is a reflection of the continuing demand for high end properties in good locations.
This demand for high quality premises is also reflected in London with businesses continuing to compete to rent high quality office space in central city locations.
