Jumeirah Beach is both a beach resort and a residential district located on the Arabian Gulf coastline of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The Jumeirah Beach District is one of the most exclusive residential areas of Dubai. It features many private detached villas and townhouses, as well as a number of luxury villas lining the popular Jumeirah Beach and Al Sufouh Roads. The white sand beach stretches south of Dubai’s historic district to Palm Jumeirah and the port facilities at Jebel Ali. In this area you will find many large resorts, housing developments, Wild Wadi Water Park, and shopping complexes. Jumeirah Beach is lined with palm trees, offers life guards and women-only days.
Jumeirah Beach is a prestigious tourist resort destination. The Burj Al Arab Hotel and Resort is the only 7-Star hotel in the world, and is an icon of Dubai. It is owned by the ruling family and is part of the Jumeirah hotel chain. This hotel chain also owns the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Wild Wadi - a water park on the beach, and Madinat Jumeirah - the largest resort in Dubai. Madinat Jumeirah features 2 hotels, 29 luxury-style hotel villas and a uniquely designed Arabian-style souk, all connected by waterways that utilise water-taxis to navigate the extensive resort. There are many luxury office buildings nearby, such as Boulevard Plaza Tower One, featuring serviced offices within 10 km (6 miles) of the beach.
