You can travel internationally by train from Pakistan to India and Iran and domestically with the Pakistan Railways network, which runs passenger services connecting the country’s major cities and towns. However, train travel is not always reliable with services frequently delayed. Bus routes also operate across the country and there are often multiple main terminals in the major cities. The main bus link runs from Karachi to Peshawar, via Multan and Lahore. For intra-city travel, rickshaws are the most common form of transport.
