Trocadero is an area located in the 16th administrative district of Paris, France. It is situated across the River Seine from the Eiffel Tower. This district is 13 km (8 miles) from the city centre. It is characterised by a concentration of museums and hosts the new Palais de Chaillot and the Jardins du Trocadéro. Five avenues begin in the area: Henri-Martin, Paul Doumer, d’Eylau, Kléber and du Président Wilson.
