The city of Pulversheim is a small town located north east of France. The city of is located in the department of Haut-Rhin of the French region Alsace. It is situated in the township of Ensisheim, part of the district of Guebwiller. The city is close to the border of Switzerland, and just over four hours from Paris.
The township of Ensisheim offers corporate park that was built for high tech companies. This location is in the middle of the European Metropolis of France, which is close to the boarder of Switzerland. There are several office space locations throughout the region. Nearby Eiblen Park provides a water habitat for birds. Numerous ducks are kept here throughout the year. There is also an enclosure for storks, which has become the pride of the region. Restaurants in the area include Beau Séjour, Domaine du Moulin, and Happy Days. French cuisine specialities include bouillabaisse, a fish stew, usually containing at least three – but often far more – types of fish and shellfish. This stew is usually served with bread. Another favourite is Cassoulet- a rich haricot bean casserole, often slow-cooked with various meats including duck, goose, and pork sausages. Quenelles de brochet is a pounded pike formed into sausage shapes and usually served with a rich crayfish sauce. The Soufflé au Grand Marnier is a light and fluffy dessert flavoured with orange liqueur and is favourite in the area.
The A35 highway through the area and Pulversheim is close to the airports of Colmar and Mulhouse. Gare de Belfort-Montbéliard TGV and Gare de Montbéliardare can be found nearby and provide access to surrounding areas.
