Another great sight is the Holländisches Viertel, 134 red brick houses of the ‘Dutch Quarters,’ built in the 18th century by Dutch master builder Johann Boumann. This was done in the hopes of attracting more Dutch artisans. Dining options include Rückholz - Gemütliche Kneipe. This restaurant and bar has artwork on the walls, homemade specialties and seating that included easy chairs and sofas. Restaurant Waage is a upper-end restaurant in a beautiful setting that serves Mediterranean dishes.
