Garbsen is a young town in the district of Hanover and part of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the river Leine. Garbsen is a suburb of Hanover, situated just 11 km (6 miles) northwest of Hanover.
Within minutes of Hanover, Garbsen is right next to the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Transporter (VWN) factory. This is the biggest employer in the region. Other companies in the area are Continental AG, and TUI AG. TUI has its headquarters in the area. There are options for executive office space in and around Garbsen.

Autostadt is a shrine to the Volkswagen. This large theme park started as a luxury centre for customers to pick up their new vehicles. Now this park offers a range of experiences to suit everyone including ice shows during the winter months, museums, rides and food from around the globe. Pier 51 is one of Hanover’s best restaurants. The walls are glass, and it sits jutting out over the Maschsee. Sunset at Pier 51 is a feast for eyes in itself. The menu is focused on fish, although you can also choose pasta or meat. In warmer months there’s an outside ’Piergarten’, for dining outside. If you want a window seat at dinner, make sure to make a reservation a few days ahead due to the popularity of the restaurant and the great views.
Hanover Airport is the closest airport to Garbsen. It is 18 km (11 miles) from the town to the airport. The E30 is a major national highway with junctions at the edge of town. Bahnhof Hannover – Ledeburg is the nearest train station, it offers routes throughout Germany and has connections to the rest of Europe.
