Eybens is a commune in the Isère department, situated in southeastern France. The designation of commune is the lowest level of administrative division in the French Republic. Even during the off-season, these resorts have wonderful views and are a great base for sightseeing in the region. Grenoble, a neighbor to Eybens, offers more than a dozen museums, including the Museum of Grenoble. Many of the restaurants in the area of Eybens make good use of the cheeses produced in the department of Isère, which are Bleu du Vercours-Sassenage and Saint-Marcellin.
The area is served by the Grenoble Isère International Airport. The E712 which connects Geneva with Marseille runs through Eybens providing excellent road options. Échirolles Gare is the nearest train station to the area and provides access to surrounding areas such as Grenoble and Meylan.
