Evry is a commune, located 25 km (15 miles) south of the centre of Paris on the Seine. It is a prefecture of the Essonne department and a seat of the arrondissement of Evry. Significant neighbouring communes include: Courcouronnes, Corbeil-Essonnes, Ris-Orangis, Brétigny-sur-Orge, and Draveil. The population of the commune is around fifty-two thousand. The average age of those living in Evry is twenty-six, making it the town with the second youngest average age if it’s inhabitants in France.
Three large companies have their headquarters in Evry. These are the Accor hotel group, Arianespace space transportation and Carrefour’s Hypermarkets. In this area there are many opportunities for renting executive suites.

By public transport, the city is reachable through three stations on the RER line D: Evry-Val-de-Seine, Evry – Courcouronnes Centre, and Le Bras-de-Fer. By car the town is accessible through the A6 motorway, the National 7 and 104. Evry has a newly built river port offering pleasure boat services.
