Ballerup is a Danish town situated in the region Hovedstaden. It is the seat of the Ballerup Municipality. It is situated on the island of Zealand in eastern Denmark. Ballerup is 9 miles from central Copenhagen. Other than Ballerup, the towns that make up the municipality are Malov and Skovlunde.
