Orchard Lea – A Windsor Gem

Set amongst manicured parkland in rural Berkshire, Orchard Lea near Windsor is a rare combination of classical elegance combined with the latest innovations in office design.  It is designed for those businesses that seek to impress visiting clients and inspire their staff with delightful surroundings.

Originally a sixteenth century manor housed set in the heart of what used to be known as the Windsor Woods.  It was formerly the home of the Deputy Lieutenant of Berkshire and Deputy Constable and Lieutenant-Governor of Windsor Castle.

Lord Esher who owned the house in the early twentieth century was a good friend of Lord Northcliffe, who was largely responsible for founding the British newspaper industry – so the centre is full of history.  It is even alleged to have a ghost, though none of the SOS team encountered him or her… or it.

Orchard Lea is equidistant from Ascot, Bracknell Maidenhead and Windsor.  Its facilities include air conditioning, reception staff and support teams, kitchen areas, state-of-the-art technology, and on-demand meeting rooms.

Not easily overawed by business property the Search Office Space team gave a very enthusiastic response to the quality of the fittings and facilities at Orchard Lea.

The M4 and M25 motorways are seven miles away from the Business Centre, providing easy access to the major commercial centre of the Thames Valley. The M3 motorway is less than 9 miles away. Heathrow airport is a 15 mile drive.

There is a huge choice of restaurants, cafes and pubs around Orchard Lea and in nearby Windsor and Ascot. The area also plays host to a number of prestigious sporting events, including International Polo, Royal Ascot, World Matchplay at Wentworth and the Henley Regatta. From Ascot and Windsor railway stations there are trains to London Waterloo and Paddington.
