Bondi Junction is a suburb located 6 kilometres (4 miles) east of the Sydney central business district in the Australian state of New South Wales. This suburb is part of the local government area of the Waverley. Bondi Junction (BJN) is also the name of a Sydney CityRail underground railway station. Bondi Junction is the eastern end of the Eastern Suburbs railway. The station also is a bus terminal and has a shopping centre above it. This is the sixth busiest station on the CityRail network. The Bondi Junction rail station is located in the suburb of Bondi Junction.

The closest major airport to Bondi Junction is Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport. This airport is 15 km (9 miles) from the suburb. The airport is located on the Airport & East Hills line and is served by a train every few minutes that terminates at the Bondi Junction rail station. Access to the rail station is from Grafton Street the bus terminal on either Grosvenor Street or Oxford Street. The station is served by six to eight trains per hour each way, with additional trains during weekday peak hours.
